What customers say?

“ I love coming here to study. Since it’s a board game cafe and people often come in large groups it can get very noisy with screaming and laughing so just be aware of that. Food is not their staple item, but the amount of variety makes up for it. Especially if you like drinks and coffee. Service is average, once the server forgot to put our order in and we waited 45 minutes for 1 drink. And the “slushes” aren’t actually slushes, rather drinks with very finely crushed up ice in it. I liked it regardless because the taste was wonderful, but my brother didn’t enjoy that aspect as much. ”

“ I feel like this cafe is such a gem if you're looking for somewhere to settle down at night, grab a meal and a drink, and do some studying. It's also a great place to socialize, go on a date, or even have a coffee chat. I've tried several dishes here: mushroom udon, creamy spicy udon, gyudon bowl, truffle mushroom spaghetti, brownie ice cream, tiramisu, and milk tea. Out of those, I'd say my favourites were the udon dishes and the brownie ice cream. I do want to try some of the other drinks, as they always look super appealing when someone else orders them. Unfortunately, my friend ordered the watermelon slush and asked for 50% sugar, but when it arrived, it tasted mostly like water. That was disappointing as the drink was $8. Aside from that, board games are $6 for 2 hours (per person) which I think is a good price, since they have quite a variety of games. The seating is very nice and the atmosphere is lovely, very modern and techy-looking. Overall, I feel like I will be visiting more often to study and grab a snack. ”

“ Absolutely loved this café at Yonge & Bloor! We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was super quiet, which was perfect. It’s only $6 per person for 2 hours of board games which is a great deal. The ambience is a 10/10. The cheese-loaded fries were amazing and easily enough for two. The prosciutto & cheese croissant was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. My absolute favourite was the sea salt rose latte Definitely adding this spot to my regular list! ”

“ A decent spot for studying, board games or a quick weekday meal. The food isn’t really the highlight here … it’s more like simple café fare, with flavors that are pretty standard and nothing particularly worth noting. That said, the fruit salad felt a bit too basic in presentation, though at least the fruit was fresh. What really stood out was the environment/ interior style - cozy and well-designed, making it a great place to relax. Even the washroom was surprisingly stylish and pleasant!! ”

“ The food is delicious and the drinks are great — everything tastes fresh and well-made. The KTV rooms are super clean, with no smoke smell at all, which is such a big plus! The sound system is amazing — clear vocals, rich bass, and the MV quality is crystal-clear. They have pretty much every song you can think of, from old classics to new hits. It’s a perfect spot to chill, sing, and have fun with friends. the overall experience here is definitely better. Highly recommend! ”

“ The Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice was elite omg. The bolognese spaghetti? Kinda mid, not gonna lie. But the iced lemon black/green tea and the peach orange oolong?? Yeahhh those were serving. And shoutout to Manan — literally the best server, had main-character energy the whole time. ”

“ If you’re looking for guaranteed fun downtown toronto, I recommend visiting Twilight Cafe! It’s my first time at the bloor location and I took my family with me! We had an amazing time! I didn’t know they also had 2 karaoke rooms in the basement! Lots of seating area, great food and drinks! (Try the mushroom pasta 100000/10) It’s a perfect spot to go with friends and family! Can’t wait to be back! ”

“ Been to the locations in midtown and midland, but love how it's close to the nearest subway station. Lots of food options but highly recommend the Peach orange oolong tea if you want something refreshing and sweet drink as a pick me up. Playing the provided games was a great way to bond more with friends. Though wish they had more menu items to cater to all dietary needs. Overall highly recommend for first time goers. ”
